Can someone recommend which Gundam series to watch?

I finally realized that the various Gundam Series aren’t related. However now I can’t decide which one to watch. I watched a little of Gundam Wing but I sort of got bored. I thought it would be different from all the GW fanfics. I love the GW fics but not the anime as much. I was wondering if all the Gundam Series are like the Gundam Wing series. And if people can recommend what there favorite series is and why.

I would recommend Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, and Gundam 00 (both seasons). The ONA Gundam seed ce73 stargazer is not bad either. Happy watching
Gundam Seed + Destiny may be popular but there has been too many complaints about its weak storytelling. This is due to the fact that the plot is similar to the first few early series.
With that said, if you really like Gundam and don’t mind the graphics, the first Gundam series and the second, Zeta Gundam, are good choices. You can also watch Zeta, A New Translation, a movie compilation with newly added scenes.
Apart from these, Char’s Counterattack, another movie, is also a must watch for fans.
