Gundam Wing Series Question?

I remember as a kid watching Gundam Wing on cartoon network.
I remember that in one variation or season that the character controlling the gundam robot trained and eventually the robot kind of turned a yellow gold color and could do some amazing things, eventually defeating the main enemy.
The only thing I can compare it to is like in dragon ball z when a character goes super-saiyen.
Does anyone know what I’m talking about? If so please tell me the season or series or any info is appreciated

Thats the G-Gundam series, its the Gundam series take on super robots. I recall that it was a very fun series to watch unlike Gundam Wing.
I think you are thinking of Gundam G and it was Shining mode
That’s not in Gundam Wing, it must be in a different series…
