How come gameshark doesn't work with ps2 game mobile suit gundam vs zeta gundam?

i choose the right gameshark the problem is when it ask you to insert the gundam game it reads the cd but the screen stays black!!!

It’s ruined your game, happened to me when I used a GameShark on my gameboy when I was like 7, you will have to re-start the game over (if that’s the problem I had)
