I don't understand Optimus Prime's message from the Transformers movies.?

***-->

His fellow autobots bring up that humans destroy themselves and make war upon themselves. Prime counters that, that they are a young species and are learning…they (the transformers) were the same some years.

However, at least from the movies’ standpoints, the transformers are clearly killing each other and the visual we got from the first movie of their home planet, they all but destroyed it.

It looks to me like the humans in that universe (the movies’ universe I’m talking about) are much better off and much more civilized than the transformers ever were.

So what gives?
lol ? (I had to add at least 10 characters)

    his message is, "WTF happened to me, Me and my fellow Autobots look like shit, we look nothing like the cool and original colors and machines we used to be".

    It could be the possibility that we humans create war and hate each other for stupid little things like race, religion ect. Whereas the Autobots are trying to defend planet earth and save lives and fighting being the only way they can do it. At the end of the film Optimus says to Megatron after they fight “You left me no choice brother” this shows that Optimus didn’t want to fight and doesn’t like to fight, but did it for the greater good.
