I'm a huge gundam fan and have seen almost every series and it seems that alot of people hate gundam Wing, why?

P.S.Gundam Wing was my favorite and if you say it’s bad because of endless waltz I already know that it didn’t make any sense.

gundam wing is my favourite also. It’s one of the first anime’s i ever saw the others being sailor moon, yu-gi-oh and dragonballZ < lol.
i don’t watch any of them anymore though.

If I were to answer this question though I would assume becuase there isnt as much action as lets say Gundam 00. And that one blond chick the one Hero likes, gets very annoying
i LOVEEEEEE gundam and its wierd youd say everyone says wing sucked when all i hear is how good wing is…wierd but wing was my least favorite gundam that i have seen(watched all but 00, victory, SD, evolution, igloo, stargazer and i am currently on turn a) but to me wing had no real plot it didnt keep me intrested the charecters seemed to cocky and didnt seem to have alot of skill and why were all the gundams made for melee? that series just borred the hell out of me the only thing i liked about it was that the gundams looked cool expecally the epyon but all in all it was just borring
Gundam Wing is Gundam light, it has all the politics and war of other Gundam series but has a less edgier outcome for most of the characters. Less edgier as meaning few of the main characters die, of the main characters only Treize is killed by the end. Gundam Wing was also designed to appeal to a female audience as every Gundam pilot is a pretty boy type character and the Gundams themselves are heavily styleised to look fancy, there’s also the fact that all to often they have God-like armor that won’t take any damage until the plot calls for it.
When you started Gundam with series made by "Kill them all" Tomino you kind of grow to like that bleak out look on a war story. It also gives the protagonist room to grow as a character and become the better pilot rather than being one of the best right out of the box.
