in the first transformers movie it said Optimus prime and Megatron were brothers and if so then how is optimus?

the last generation of primes and wouldent jetfire also respect megatron cause hes a living prime also when megatron turns into galvatron is it galvatron for the rest of the transformers and where can i find the last cartoon

For the movie Optimus and Megatron are considered brothers back when Megatron was High Protector of Cybertron and Optimus was Head of the Science Team.
Optimus is descended from the 7 Primes but was lost in the war began by the Fallen. Megatron has an unknown origin but he is not descended from the Primes, just used by one (The Fallen)
In the G1 cartoon Megatron stayed as Galvatron till the end. In America the series ended with the 3 part "Rebirth". In Japan they continued the series for 3 more years. For us it was Rebirth part 3 and I watched it on Youtube. You can also watch Four Warriors From The Sky which is the Japanese substitute for Rebirth.
Youtube removes episodes but users put them back on again, it’s a vicious cycle so you might not find what you’re looking for. So keep trying on different days
