for example when do you first see deathscythe hell custom

because in the end of the season they all fought the last battle in the second stage suits, some in first, then at the beginning of Endless Waltz when they show the flashback in the very beginning, they are all fighting in their custom suits? can someone explain im confused?

There’s really no point at which that get them. The Custom designs were added to Endless Waltz partly just to look cool and mainly as a ploy to sell more models/action figures. As far as Endless Waltz is concerned, both the original and upgraded versions in the original series always looked like that, even though they clearly did not.

If it wasn’t for the flashbacks, you could way they upgraded them in the 1-year gap between the end of the series and Endless Waltz, even though there’s no reason for them to spend the time doing so (though I could see Duo doing it anyway). As it is, it’s just a continuity error that doesn’t hold any significance to the plot.

It was a decision made by either director or producers to have Hajime Katoki ‘s new mecha designs for the Gundams retroactively replace the TV designs by Kunio Okawara. Most casual fans never noticed the change or questioned it, but it was one of the many things that bugged me about Gundam Wing series as a whole. Kind of like re-writing the story events after fans had already seen the original version.
