Gundam Vs Transformers

Just finished watching it thru again. Yeah, it’s dirt cheap, so what are you out of? This Gundam series has some of the worst, nonsensical dialogue and character development ever, but also has some iconic mobile suit designs. For every episode that rocks, there are at least two that are ri-damn-diculous. It’s plot is about as subtle as a monkey with a hammer set loose upon your dirty dishes… you have to really wonder what people would behave like this. It’s a guilty pleasure… I enjoy it, but it’s not intelligently written and requires you to place your brain on low idle so as not to groan whenever one of the major characters says/does something completely insane or ludicrous.
For a fun, well done series, check out G-Gundam. It actually makes more sense than Gundam Wing. I like Wing for what it is… eye candy that could’ve been great but scrapes by as passable. G-Gundam is fun, has enough drama to be interesting and has much better characters.
The U.C. OVAs are best for all around quality (0080, 08th MS Team, and 0083).
