Is Mobile Suit Gundam 00 a mecha series worth watching?

I am not very high on mecha, but I saw a few glimpse of Gundam 00, and it was much better than the original gundam series which bored me to beyond boredom after about 2 episodes. But Gundam 00 seem to be more like the code geass type of anime which is actually somewhat enjoyable.

Yes it is, but personally i’d recommend you watch Gundam Wing first because the Gundam series after Wing are based right off that one rather than the 1st 1979 Gundam anime.

It’s on its second season now, but you can catch up.
Take a look at it, you won’t regret it.
Nothing is better than the original but it is really good.
It’s all right I guess, but it depends on your preference of what’s good and what’s not of course.
