What mobile suit series is this?

It is a series where the pilot control the Gundam by their movements and they don’t use a joystick or anything like that. it is like G Gundam (shining finger Gundam) but not G Gundam. it may have been on adult swim at one point in time. also it is not Neon Genesis Evangelin. and also i think their top pilot is a girl until a guy gets in on accident and starts to pilot it. then gets punish for what he did.

It’s the “Candidate for Goddess” anime series.
