sam was bidding farewell to optimus prime and bumblebee while wearing the watch decepticon. when sam asked optimus what are you going to do? and optimus replied nothing, was that a coincidence? because dylan was like "good thats what i wanted to hear." and blew up the rocket where everyone thought the autobots were in.

bq: why didnt the autobots die? they escaped (obviously), but how?

Ok see, at one time Sentinel Prime was a leader of the autobots. Then some time later they found an ancient artifact and decided to go the moon to get Sentinel. When Sentinel is revived he betrays the autobots and made a deal with Megatron. Sentinel Prime wanted to turn Earth into Cybertron and lead the decepticons. There was a huge fight between humans and autobots with the decepticons. During the fight between Optimus and Sentinel, Sentinel had the upper hand and was about to execute Optimus but Megatron intervene and saved him. He was smashing Sentinel and offered a truce to Optimus. But Optimus backstabbed him so Megatron died and then he killed Sentinel. Why did Megatron and Ironhide have to die??

Oh and autobots won.

Ok, so i thought the movie was pretty good, great action scenes, etc.
I rated it a 8.5/10 -SPOILERS BELOW-

The thing that really annoyed me was how the decepticons were so weak.. I mean in the forest battle optimus was taking them all on which was really cool and it was a long fight, But in the ending battle the decepticons were getting killed in a matter of seconds, and it started to get boring. I didnt see to many 1 on 1 fights or even group fights between autobots and decepticons i found that the soldiers were killing most of them. Also, I hated how The Fallen guy was killed by optimus really quickly.. I mean isnt he supposed to be this really beast guy? I was really expecting a full on fight between the two. And Instead the ending should have been like this..

-The soldiers/ autobots were getting overrun by the decepticons
-Sam revives Optimus Prime, Prime goes crazy and runs in killing alot of decepticons just like the forest battle
-Prime fights The Fallen in an epic fight unlike wat happened in the film which turned out to be a basicly 20 second fight scene between the 2 which relli disappointed me
Overall the movie was really good, i enjoyed the action scenes, it just could have been better in some spots.

I know that the maximals and predacons in beastwars are anscestors of the decepticons and autobots, but who is who? i know optimus primal is optimus prime, and that waspinator is jetscream, but what about the others?
