Transformers 2007 movie. What about Bumblebee?

After Bumblebee was captured by Sector 7 at Hoover Dam, did Optimus Prime have any intention of trying to rescue Bumblebee later on or was he just going to abandon him completely? I know that Optimus & the Autobots were reunited with Bumblebee when they spotted him driving towards them on the road (to which, they all turned around & followed him). The thing is, Optimus speaks of Bumblebee, saying that he’s a brave soldier & finding the All Spark is what Bumblebee would have wanted. But, if Bumblebee had not been freed, would Optimus have even tried to help him or was he just going to leave him?

RESPONSE TO ??? = CRYBo7 Solitaire I am. I must disagree with something you said about Optimus. If Optimus had ended up needing to sacrifice Bumblebee in order to save the earth & the universe, I believe he would have indeed felt deep remorse for it because even though he’s only doing what needs to be done, it doesn’t change the fact that he still loves Bumblebee as a friend as well as one his bravest soliders.

Of course he would. However, finding the AllSpark was the highest priority. Bumblebee knew and fully accepted what might happen. Every Autobot would be willing to give their life(as Jazz did) to prevent the evil Megatron was planning and Optimus Prime would give his life for anyone one, even Megatron if it were for the greater good.

i totally agree with the one before me. i have watched that movie so much cause i love it. Optimus had to get the AllSpark first…he had no other choice. And they all would have given there lives in order to save earth. Bumblebee knew that, its one of the reasons why he didnt fight back when they caught him. he didnt want to harm anyone. great movie..cant wait for the second one
You may have seen that Optimus had a greater task to accomplish there and so his priorities where mainly to save the earth, for that sacrifices must be done, Bumblebee is fully aware of this and he will have no remorse if he was left behind.
But let us face it he managed to escape and do even good so all is good what ends up good. And he stayed on earth now.
I just can’t wait for the sequel of the transformers next June 2009 by the way if you did not know about it the movie is called "Transformers 2 Revenge of the fallen" and expect it to be even better than the first because they have a bigger budget and experience now.
