    I don’t remember any of this happening in 2005, giant robots and all. Did I miss something?

    for once starscreem was right if megatron had listen to him the outcome might have been different for megatron and the decepticons

    Hey ppl, i have a question, a hard one. When i was young i watched a movie, i think that it was movie about transformers, but i dont remember quite well. The only thing that i remember is a ‘comet’ from opening and a ship, just like a snake, built from segments… and there was a reptile too, prowling in the bushes or sth like that ;p. Do you recognize it?

    I will never enjoy this movie! Never did! It always hurts me to see the original Transformers characters die in this movie every time I watch it on my VHS. Including Kranix being eaten up by the Sharkticons. Just like it injures me when Sunbow never made new episodes of Robotix, and Bigfoot and the Muscle Machines from Super Sunday. Hannah-Barbera didn’t kill off the characters in the Gobots Battle of the Rocklords Movie. So why Transformers????

    What the hell? What happened to the Star Wars style intro? Instead they put in flying credits like Superman? Man i hate it when they make changes to these classics.

    rip g1 brawn,prowl,ratchet,ironhide and a lot more

  • Longsh0t says:

    Pretty sure it’s always been like that. I’d have to dig up my old VHS to confirm, though.

  • TheDarkHighlander says:

    @Longsh0t
    There is 100% definately a version that has that
    Star Wars style scrolling backstory at the beginning,
    with the narrator at 3:57 reading it out.

    I Have the DVD of it here. Either this has been re-edited
    or it’s a regional difference (which i highly doubt they
    will ask the same guy who did the narration to
    only do the UK version)

    @TheDarkHighlander
    I misunderstood your original comment. After you said “backstory” I remember the Original Transformers narrator talking about the war between the Autobots and Decepticons.

    When you said it was replaced by “flying credits like Superman”, I thought you were talking about the voice actor names scrolling in a Star Wars scroll. LOL.

    awsome quality..thnx fr the upload.

  • Originalman320 says:

    Ironhide is made of a tougher material than most Autobots. In reality, most of the other Decepticon blasts shouldn’t have done much damage to him. It had to take Megatron himself to finish him.

  • Originalman320 says:

    The Autobots in the shuttle could have leaset wasted a couple of no-name Decepticons before they got taken out. That battle should not have been that one-sided.

  • doanjoey says:

    Is this an anime or an American cartoon, cause I get the impression that it’s both… its animation looks an awful lot like Zeta Gundam

  • mark7rifle says:

    more like Transformers THE ( THEE) Movie!

  • bibleandbandana says:

    @TheDarkHighlander
    You’re referring to a different version of this same movie. I believe the story goes, this movie was released in ceertain places of the world that hadn’t yet recieved the second season of the show, so the creators wanted to put in a little star wars-ish intro to bring them up to speed. I’m actually kind of jealous, as I’ve never seen that version. :) but yes, this is the original version as it first appeared in theaters.

  • bibleandbandana says:

    @nemeyeth00
    Hmmm… can you give me an approximate year? What was the animation like, you mean like this?

  • Korolev61 says:

    I’ve never watched this before but I’m sure it’s better than the recent two shit bombs. Even if it does have 80s pop music every time something interesting happens…

  • jeditwinz says:

    @Originalman320 None of it made sense. They only did it to bring out the new line of toys that fall/winter.

  • Haktsu says:

    @dhillman87 I think this generation is more restrained than the older ones. I would love to see more cartoons that are as creative as the old ones.
