What are some good mecha similar to Gundam Wing?

The first Gundam is like Thriller and Gundam Wing is like the Smooth Criminal of mecha anime. Thriller revolutionized the concept of music videos, Smooth Criminal perfected it. So as you can see, I need something that lives up to Gundam Wing because that is my absolute favorite anime of all time.
