When does Gundam Wing start to get interesting?

***-->

I am in the middle of the third episode, and at this point it is pretty ordinary. This is supposed to be an anime legend, and I don’t see how people were so wrapped up in it when it came to the states. What episode can I expect it to get really interesting?
I am watching it just now because I did not get to watch it when it used to come on Cartoon Network, and want to watch it because a lot of people regard it as a great anime.

    Well, if you’re not interested at this point then you probably won’t like the rest of it. The reason I liked it so much was because it had a well-developed story and it didn’t center around giant robot fights.

    It has a socio-political theme, so if you don’t like it by the 6th episode then you probably might want to stop it.

    Suggestion: If you want a more action-packed anime, I would suggest G-Gundam. It’s a little more active than Gundam Wing (but not crazy action packed like Dragonball Z), and it had a good balance between story development and fighting scenes. I thought it was pretty interesting.

    if you don’t like it, don’t watch it. I don’t know what you mean by interesting because that’s one of my fav animes and I liked it from the beginning.

    It doesn’t start to get interesting — it is interesting

    The format of the show moves away from mission-based stories right around episode 10. I won’t spoil what comes after for you.

    At episode 3, you’ve only been introduced to two of the main pilots. There’s quite a few characters to go.
